Wallpaper Removal FAQs

Can every wallpaper be removed cleanly?

No. Removal difficulty depends on the wallpaper, adhesive, wall preparation and number of layers. We test an area first and explain the likely process.

Can you paint directly over wallpaper?

It is sometimes technically possible, but seams, bubbles and adhesion problems can remain. Removal and proper wall preparation generally provide a better long-term finish.

Will the walls need skim coating?

Some walls only need cleaning and spot repairs. Others require broader skim coating when the surface paper or underlying wall has been damaged.
